Geological Time Scale (GTS) it is the Earth's super-long calendar, stretching back about 4.54 billion years – that's a whole lot of history!
Geologists and paleontologists have divided this vast history into chunks based on significant events, like major changes in rocks, climate, and most importantly the types of life that existed.
